Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 14, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Go Global Hub community platform operated by Startup Lady Association (the “Operator”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Go Global Hub is a bilingual membership community for entrepreneurs, investors, and companies. It provides member profiles, discussion channels with automatic translation, and (as they become available) business matching, fundraising matching, and partner support features.
The Operator may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice where practicable.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be 18 years or older and able to enter a binding contract. You must provide accurate information during onboarding, including your profile and company details.
You may sign in with Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to that identity provider secure.
3. Identity verification and membership
New members complete identity verification through Stripe Identity and select an annual membership tier (Light, Regular, Premium, or Corporate Sponsor). Annual dues are set by the Operator and displayed at checkout.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Access to gated features depends on your active tier and payment status. The Operator may suspend access if verification fails, dues are unpaid, or these Terms are breached.
4. Community rules
You agree not to harass others, post unlawful or infringing content, scrape the community, impersonate another person, or use the service to spam or solicit in a way that violates applicable law.
Announcements may be posted only by administrators. Channel messages may be stored and automatically translated so other members can read them in English or Japanese. You remain responsible for the original content you post.
5. Intellectual property
The Operator and its licensors own the platform, branding, and software. You retain rights in content you post, and you grant the Operator a non-exclusive licence to host, display, translate, and distribute that content within the service.
6. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided as-is. Introductions, matching, and member-posted information are not offers of investment, legal, or professional advice. The Operator does not guarantee business outcomes, translation accuracy, or the conduct of other members.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Mandatory consumer rights under Japanese law are not excluded.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. The Operator may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and governing law) remain in effect.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive first-instance jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer venue rules require otherwise.
